Students of Philosophy can employ themselves in diverse lucrative areas such as social development programmes, projects, competitive examinations and banking.

The Department has created a close knit community of teachers and students through its nourishing environment. The Department organises popular lecture programme every year inviting local academics to deliver talks on various aspects of Philosophy. The students of the Department are encouraged to participate in various class seminars and field trips.
