Rules and Regulations
a. Residents of the hostels shall have to observe the timings of breakfast, meals, tiffin, study hours and evening roll calls circulated by the Hostel Warden
b. No resident shall remain outside her room loitering in the corridor, verandah or watch T.V. during study and class hours.
c. Substance abuse in any form shall be considered as a major offence and shall be dealt with severely.
d. Leave of absence from the hostel must be obtained in advance from the Warden. If a boarder remains absent from the hostel without due permission, it will be considered a major offence
e. No visitors are allowed during the study or college hours. Guest will not be entertained without prior permission from the warden.
f. Residents shall not quit the hostel without written permission of the warden. Such permission may be granted only on payment of the outstanding career against her.
g. Residents applying for transfer from the College must produce a certificate from the warden satisfying her good conduct and the payment of all outstanding dues
h. A boarder asking for any certificate from the College must have recommendation of the superintendent of the hostel for her good conduct, otherwise, no certificate will be issued to her
i. Hostels shall remain closed during the Summer Vacation and Winter Break. No resident shall be allowed to reside in the hostel during such closure without permission from the Principal.
j. Mess dues must be paid by the resident within 15 days of each month or within such a date as may be notified by the hostel warden.
k. Only CFL or energy saving tube light is allowed to be used in the Hostels
l. Using mobile phone during study hours is strictly prohibited. The hostel authority has right to confiscate mobile phones, if residents are found to be using them during study hours.
m. It is mandatory for residents to become a member of Mess Committee for at least a month which is formed periodically on the 1st day of the month to run hostel mess.
n. A resident has to pay entire Seat Rent for the session even if she wishes to vacate hostel in the middle of a session.
o. Residents are not allowed to keep valuable personal properties in hostel room. Authority will not be responsible for loss or damage of any such belongings.
